My giddy ant

Ah the humble ant.

This won first prize in a recent science photography competition. It is truly amazing, how it manages to lift 100 times its own weight.

It actually carries the item in its jaw.

We humans could only dream of such ability.

Imagine lifting a car and using it as a hat.

And yet, most of the time, we ignore the life around us. It carries on regardless, come flood, famine or fire.

Long after we have sullied it, the earth will continue to go about its business.

Much like the ant.
