Apparently this spot is the final resting place of non other than Jesus.

He'd gone on a package deal after the little spot of crucifixion bother and ended up in India.

Rather oddly though, he failed to take advantage of the hippy trail in Goa and settled instead to get down with the Buddhists in Srinagar (rhymes with vinegar, I assume) in around AD80 or ACE80 depending on your beliefs.

Now the place is a must see destination to tick off on the Lonely Planet circuit.

Oh how the shopkeepers love it.
